VAERSENBAY / SNAKEBAY
Vaersenbay with it's beautiful beach, makes diving easy. Protected against the waves and current it attracts big schools of fish. The reef is formed with an abundance of Brain Coral and big fields of Finger Coral and a lot of Elephant Ear Sponges. In the depth a sunken pontoon forms a mysterious picture and is worth exploring. This pontoon was used to ferry the cars to nearby dive spot "Car Wrecks" and sunk in a storm. Pay attention to your depth as the pontoon rests on a depth of 25 meters / 75 feet.
Next to the sleepy village Boka Sami is a beautiful small beach, Snake Bay, with a boat ramp for easy access. Entering the water you’re protected by a breaker and a short swim brings you to a sloping reef. The reef is very dense with Table Coral, Star Coral and Brain Coral. Schools of small fish attract Barracuda’s, Jack’s and even Ray’s. This alone is reason enough to book this trip!
